About The Farm

Near the village of Wadhurst in East Sussex, Eatonden Manor Farm is a 50 acre grasslands farm set amongst sheep dotted fields and woodlands.

Converted from old farm buildings and surrounded by countryside there are two holiday cottages available to rent for holidays and short breaks.

We have various livestock and animals on the farm including sheep, alpacas, pigs, chickens and ducks, from which guests can collect freshly laid eggs. There are beautiful walks from the farm and plenty of space for kids to play. We have a large vegetable garden and cut flower patch from which seasonal produce is available for sale via an honesty box, along with pork reared at the farm.

Stonegate train station, 3 miles by road or 1.5 miles along the footpath, provides a direct service to London in an hour. Close by are the picturesque villages of Burwash, Ticehurst, Wadhurst and Mayfield with a variety of pubs, cafes and shops to enjoy. The larger Spa town of Tunbridge Wells is a short 20 minute drive and the coastal towns of Hastings, Rye and Brighton a little further. In every direction are numerous National Trust houses, castles and woodland trails to explore.

I just spent a wonderful weekend in The Hay Barn with 4 close friends. The cottages are gorgeous and the farm offers the perfect retreat from busy city life. There were little piglets just outside who were super sweet and fresh eggs from the ducks and chickens in the morning. Zoe and her family were the perfect blend of attentive but also gave us our privacy to chill out and relax. Couldn’t recommend the farm high enough. I look forward to returning in the summer.
