About The Farm

Near the village of Wadhurst in East Sussex, Eatonden Manor Farm is a family run 50 acre grasslands farm set amongst sheep dotted fields and woodlands.

There are two holiday cottages available to rent for holidays and short breaks that have been converted from old farm buildings. Well set back from the lane and overlooking the alpaca field they offer a peaceful setting and lovely views.

The farm has various livestock and animals throughout the year including sheep, alpacas, pigs, chickens and ducks as well as two farm cats that are regular visitors to the cottages. There are beautiful walks from the farm and plenty of space for kids to play including a hay barn and the farmyard.

Stonegate train station, 3 miles by road or 1.5 miles along the footpath, provides a direct service to London in an hour. Close by are the picturesque villages of Burwash, Ticehurst, Wadhurst and Mayfield with a variety of pubs, cafes and shops to enjoy. The larger Spa town of Tunbridge Wells is a short 20 minute drive and the coastal towns of Hastings, Rye and Brighton a little further. In every direction are numerous National Trust houses, castles and woodland trails to explore.

We could not have chosen a more beautiful and relaxing place to spend a lovely family holiday than your gorgeous farm. Driving through the picturesque villages on the way to the farm prepares you perfectly for what feels like going back in time. The farm is straight out of an Enid Blyton novel, surrounded by magical trees and meadows. The cottage was just idyllic and beautifully decorated. Thank you for all your hospitality. We hope to see you again soon.
